June Camp Overview
This four-day camp, set at an altitude of 7,000-10,000 feet in beautiful Northern Arizona, is perfect for off-road enthusiasts looking for a fully supported, high-mileage adventure. With guided rides across a mix of road, gravel, and single-track, the camp is best suited for riders with some gravel experience and a solid fitness foundation.

June Camp Itinerary
Gravel Racing Camp Itinerary 🚴♂️🏔️
Day 1: Arrival & Shakedown Ride (20-30 miles, 600 ft)
Welcome to Flagstaff!
Arrive and settle into accommodations at 1:00 PM.
Light snacks and bike setup to ensure everything is ready for the week.
Shakedown Spin: A 20-mile ride to loosen up and get familiar with the terrain.
Evening: Happy hour & pizza night at Park Drive—a perfect way to kick off camp!
Day 2: Wing Mountain & A-1 Adventure (40-60 miles, 5,000 ft)
Morning: Breakfast and a challenging ride through the forest around Wing Mountain & A-1 Mountain.
Afternoon: Post-ride happy hour at Dark Sky Brewery, plus recovery options:
Assisted soft tissue massage with Coach Kelsey
Recovery session with NormaTec boots
Evening: Dinner at The Village, relaxing and refueling for the next big ride.
Day 3: Pedal the Peaks! (50-80 miles, 5,000-6,000 ft)
A spectacular gravel ride around the San Francisco Peaks, with an option to climb Saddle Mountain.
Ride through Lockett Meadow Road and the stunning Inner Basin.
Evening: Another well-earned dinner at The Village to celebrate the epic day.
Day 4: Snowbowl Summit & Farewell (25 miles, 2,300 ft)
Final ride up the scenic Snowbowl Road—a rewarding way to end the camp!
Wrap-Up: Assistance with bike packing and farewells to new friends and riding partners.

To provide an immersive training experience for gravel cyclists of all skill levels, focusing on endurance, technical skills, race strategies, and community building in a supportive race environment.

Race Camp Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to Flagstaff!
Upon arrival, check in and settle into your accommodations while our staff assists with unpacking and rebuilding bikes. Get to know fellow riders and the team during a hosted happy hour with light snacks.
Evening Activities:
Shakeout Ride: A relaxed 20-mile ride to loosen up and acclimate to the altitude.
Dinner & Educational Seminar: Enjoy a hearty meal followed by an informative session covering essential topics such as race preparation, gravel riding techniques, and nutrition strategies.
Get ready for an exciting and action-packed camp experience!
Day 2: Training & Strategy
Morning:
Breakfast: Fuel up with a nutritious meal to prepare for the day's ride.
Tune-Up Ride (40 Miles): A coached ride focusing on race strategy, nutrition timing, and course management for varying terrains and conditions. Riders will receive real-time guidance on pacing, gear selection, and handling techniques.
Afternoon:
Lunch & Educational Session: A deep dive into key topics such as optimizing performance, hydration strategies, and mental preparation for race day.
Recovery & Relaxation: Unwind in the NormaTec Recovery & Massage Lounge while enjoying a casual happy hour. Compression therapy, massage, and other recovery techniques will be available to aid muscle recovery and ensure riders are ready for the next day's challenges.

Day 3: Pre-Race Prep & Recovery
The countdown is over—race day is tomorrow!
Morning:
Pre-Race Fueled Breakfast: A nutrition-packed meal to ensure optimal energy levels.
Bike Check & Readiness: Final bike inspections and adjustments to ensure everything is dialed in for race day.
Spin-Down Ride & Openers: A short, structured ride with activation efforts to prime the body for peak performance.
Afternoon:
Casual Lunch & Race Planning: Individualized race strategies, course breakdowns, and pacing discussions to set each athlete up for success.
Evening – Time for the Fun Part!
Recovery & Relaxation: Unwind in the NormaTec Recovery & Massage Lounge with compression therapy, massage, and recovery techniques to promote muscle relaxation and mental readiness.
Nutritious Dinner & Lights Out: A well-balanced meal followed by an early night to ensure maximum rest before the big day.

Early Rise & Grand Canyon Departure
Wake up, fuel up, and gear up! We’ll head out early for a scenic drive to the Grand Canyon, setting the stage for an unforgettable race day.

All distances take off at 9:00 AM, with our coaches supporting you every step of the way. Whether it’s pacing, strategy, or last-minute motivation, we’ll be there to ensure you have the best race experience possible.
